Mississauga’s Neighbourhoods: Churchill Meadows

Churchill Meadows is one of the youngest communities in Mississauga. The area has been developed for the most part over the past 10 years, and for those that bought during Phase 1, they've seen a great rise in the value of their homes. Located next to Milton, the area became home to those young families that wanted to stay in Mississauga but wanted a chance to buy a new home. Mississauga doesn't have many new homes, so Churchill Meadows is a great option for those looking for newer resale homes. The neighbourhood itself is pretty well established, but with ongoing developments still being built, the community won't be fully established and matured for a few more years. For those looking for something affordable, there are many condo townhomes that give you the option. Well located in the west end of Mississauga, Churchill Meadows is an ever-increasing popular spot for younger families to begin their lives.

In terms of the school zone, Churchill Meadows has performed very well despite being one of the younger communities in Mississauga. You have two elementary schools in the Top 20 and the #6-ranked middle school in Erin Centre Middle. In time, this area should see even stronger scores and will most likely sit in the Top 5 for a long time.

Schools in the Churchill Meadows Community

If the choice of school is at all a significant factor in your choice of location, please insure that you check with the appropriate school board or school officials before committing to a home purchase.

A very important factor when deciding where to purchase one's home, is the choosing the schools for your children. In addition to type (public or Catholic), factors such as location and walking distance need to be considered.

Parents most often look for guidance as to the quality of education being provided at the area schools. In addition to speaking with the school principal(s) parents may wish to turn to a broad based survey that purports to provide some measure of the output performance of individual schools and/or observe the trend of the schools' performance over time.

To assist you with your querries regarding schooling, the following chart may prove helpful. Just click on either "Website" for specific information regarding a subject school, or "Ranking", for for the Fraser Institute Rating data for the school. "N/A" implies that the subject school, for whatever reason, declined to participate in the comparative rating system fostered by The Fraser Inst. or was not insurveyed because it is not a publicly financed school.
